COP30: useful information for universities and colleges
This year's United Nations climate change conference, COP30, will take place from 10 to 21 November in Belém, Brazil. The Brazilian Presidency has announced their intent to pivot from negotiations to implementation through a focus on the Action Agenda.
EAUC, as secretariat for Race to Zero for Universities and Colleges, is working closely with other education sector partners to celebrate the important role that the post-16 education sector plays in influencing climate action.

Share your event plans and explore what others are doing
If you are hosting an event at COP, please add the event details to this spreadsheet.This document, coordinated by the Higher Education Climate Network of Networks (of which EAUC are a member) will be used to share HE relevant events widely across the community.
This year, there will be a Higher Education for Climate Action Pavilion (spreadsheet and google calendar schedules available) in the Blue Zone. The pavilion will showcase how universities advance climate action through education, research, innovation and community engagement. Universities will also be part of several events at the Science for Climate Action Pavillion.

Not attending COP in person this year? There are still so many ways to participate.
